Newcommers - if you are hanging back about questioning the DW Community about any game related matter, post here.
I 'know nuffin' but I know a 'man who does.' So if you get no reaction or the response is inadequate, you have my pledge that I will do my best to search out a responder and get your question answered.

The following pull from Subsim Com DW forum confirms the above :-
Bellman wrote::smile: ''Yeah I'd forgotten the first rule in the forces 'Never volunteer !'
But I'm glad OS floated this one - the idea is to give newcommers some space to float questions that
they may be reticent about exposing to a general forum.
Its success will depend on the willingness of the 'experienced' to keep an eye on this 'Ask Away' corner.
I 'know nuthin', as they say, so I'm going to need your help please.
But, I 'know where you live' and if I'm stuck for an answer, and its all quiet, I'm coming after you.''

What is the current mod and ver being used by the community in online play?

At the moment the official 1.03BETA Patch is used by the majority I would guess. Depending on the circumstances people are using the Lw/Ami Mod 3.00 with that version. Or for those who haven't gone from DW 1.01 (+ Hotfix) its the Lw/Ami Mod 2.03. You can find both in the Mod section including Readmes and tips on how to install it. And there is a step by step introduction to installing two different versions of DW on the same system if you want to be absolutly on the safe side.
