I was playing the Red Storm Rising campaign mission that calls for a coordinated TLAM strike. On my first go I unleashed them, dove to 550ft and boogied out of the zone just under cavitation speed. All the 'hawks hit home save one - because a Bear driver decided to take a bullet for the motherland. Unfortunately an airborne ASW got a MAD hit while investigating the buoy a fellow 668i brushed past, and I got a torp right on my head.
Now, I saved right after I launched the Tomahawks, so on my second go, I got out without a scratch, so I watched my missiles in the 3D view. What I saw astounded me - a big fat furball over the target - and underneath the terrain with no detonation. I time advanced and they just kept going, spinning around and around. SAMs couldn't even touch them.
Anybody have any idea on what might have caused the TLAMs to go bonkers? Perhaps the save state messed things up?
