Ok, I have made some modifications to the SubAtkSub doctrine and I'd like to post it here as a preview of what will be included in LWAMI 3.0.

Please try it out and let me know what you think and if you encounter any problems with it, or have suggestions on enhancements (programming-focused only please, as there are many things I'd LIKE to be able to do, but can't due to my own neophyte programming ability and the limitations of the doctrine interpreter).

So you know what to expect, the AI subs will fire a single torpedo after some maneoving to put them into a better firing position, as always, but when the target goes into an evasion pattern and increases speed above 20kts, the attacking AI sub, usually, will fire a second torpedo shot along the new solution of the evading sub. The effect of this is to get a nice spread shot effect, especially if the evading sub takes a good evasion pattern for the first torpedo. This ought to make the AI a bit better of an opponent. :smile: :arms:

PS Some submarines only have one torpedo tube in the database currently! :censored: This means you won't get a second shot for subs like the Collins... this will be fixed in LWAMI 3.0! :wink: :attack:

PPS: To install, just unzip into your Dangerous Waters Doctrine Folder. I recommend making a backup of the original first, if you don't have the full folder backed up from your LWAMI Mod installation.

PPPS I have now uploaded Version 2, which introduces a random time delay on the speed dependant second shot, to make sure the AI fires on the final evasion solution rather than immediately upon the speed increase.
