Now this is a nice little Calculator. It can convert stuff like lengths, weight and so on, has a graph function and is programmable. And the best, its free. I haven't dug into its possibilities myself yet, but it sure looks like a nice thing to have.

The 2nd file is a Multitrack Stopwatch. Again a very handy tool and you can keep track of multiple Countdowns (or Countups) at the same time and even program some conversions and stuff to be taken alongside. Like for example counting the seconds and displaying the flown distance at any given time.

Hi OneShot,

The calculator is GREAT (I have just bought a stopwatch for DW - UGH!)

However I can't get the calculator to run, or even open (compression not recognised). Is it just me :frown: or is the link not working.

Thanks.

The calculator doesn't work for me either.

I just checked both files attached to the first post and both work perfectly. I had no problems downloading, unzipping and finally installing those programs. And the two test runs I did with each worked out well too.

My tests were done on a 32bit Windows XP SP2.

I get a message saying "File skipped, unknown compression method" when I try and unzip the calculator.

The stopwatch works fine.

What did you zip it with, Oneshot?
Also, what are you guys trying to unzip it with?

I used archive manager, and it works fine for me. Of course I'm using Linux tho.
If you're interested in an alternative compression/decompression tool, check out 7zip.
It's all I've used for years, it's lightweight, open source, and it's handled everything I've thrown at it.

I am using xp pro sp2 32 bit and was using the standard windows unzipping tool.

I think I zipped it with StuffIt, tho I used the standard Zip compression, nothing fancy.

@Linton : How bout giving 7zip or WinRar (both free) a try and use them.
