Hi. After being fed up with how crappy the placement of most weapons on the warships in DW were (especially the Russian ships), I decided to replace all the launchers and cannons to their acutal positions.
Things that this mod fixes:
-Missiles firing from random spots on the warships
-Firing arcs for just about all the weapons. I am so sick of seeing my missiles be shot down by a gun/launcher that shot through the warship it was placed on
-For missiles and torpedoes launched from static tubes, they now leave thier launchers/tubes in the direction the launcher/tube is facing.
Attached are the database files (based off of LWAMI 3.08, FYI) in .zip format:
Please try it out and tell me what you think.
*Please note that the only things currently affected are the Russian surface warships (excluding the CVN and the supply ships). I will do more ships from other navies later.

This looks really interesting, but I have a few questions.
First, I don't understand DWedit's launcher positioning system at all. How do you make adjustments in launcher position other than though a trial-and-error method? EDIT: NM, I guess this is easier than I thought it was last time I tried adjusting a launcher position. So don't worry about it.
Second, that information are you using to base the firing arc data on?
And lastly, and this may depend on your response to two, but can you list the firing arcs in a single table/post? I may use your data, but I really don't want to have to pull this out of the DB one at a time, that's just unnecessarily tedious.

Sorry for not getting back here earlier, I've been a bit busy.

Mainly just my plain old eyes. Most ships with rotatable launchers had firing arcs that would literally allow them to fire guns and missiles through ship superstructures.
For example, with the Russian AK630's, since they can rotate the whole 360°, I set the arcs to cover all unobstructed areas from the point of view (POV) of the gun.
I made a few mistakes with the edits, too, that I've caught. For example, I think I set some unrotateable launchers to have too narrow firing arcs by accident, so that will be changed.
Once I fix these (and clear up the rest of the Russian fleet), I'll go ahead and start with the American warships.
P.S. I've been getting all my other info from lots of searching on the web. I took info from many sources and consolidated it into something that seemed logical and likely.
And lastly, and this may depend on your response to two, but can you list the firing arcs in a single table/post? I may use your data, but I really don't want to have to pull this out of the DB one at a time, that's just unnecessarily tedious.
Sure, I'll find the time to do that.
