After duels, the team match is probably the next most common thing.

We can get 2v2 sub battles off the ground quickly. The same rules for dueling would apply, with some minor alterations in scoring. That's easymode. Go from 500 points for survival/kills to 250 points per surviving team member and enemy subs killed.

Would anyone want other team matches? (For example, FFG+sub teams or really any other combination.) And if so, would it be part of the same ladder or completely separate? The same question can be asked regarding team matches bigger than 2v2, such as force-on-force fleet battles.

A little more work will need to be done on the rule front with the inclusion of surface and air platforms. ROE may need some modification, we'll have to consider whether to allow AI (e.g. AEGIS ships for air defense) And we'll probably need to create missions to play (the nice thing about sub duels and teamdives is that there are already so many scenarios out there).

FFG + helo v 2x kilo might be more interesting then FFG + sub. Whether you want to extend that to giving a defend a convoy type objective, or just a duel...

Can we play in multistation ?
That is for example : team 1 : frigate (2/3 players) + helo (1 player) vs team 2 kilo (1/2 players) + kilo (1/2 players) ?

I would say ... why not. Actually you can start Teams as well, but unfortunatly it seems that at the moment Teams can only play in a Tournament and Individuals can play in Ladders & Tournaments. Hopefully the mod creator will rectify the situation somewhen down the road.

We could create "users" to act as proxies for teams until that happens.

I don't see why not. I'd imagine a format with a set # of players and a set # of platforms, but how those players are allocated is up to the team. The bottom line is that we'll go where the interest in playing is.
