Is there anyone out there who has completed the Liberian Liberation mission successfully? Just when I think I have completed all the goals at the end... the raft carrying the rescued hostages turns around and heads back to land. It disappears as if the two gunboats got them, however the raft shows 0% damage prior to disappearing, and I have clearly destroyed both gunboats. Just when it appears I am the only one left in the area, I get another message saying two gunboats are closing fast. If there's someone out there who can give me a brief run down as to how I can get out of this mission I would be very grateful.

I share your pain brother.

This is the most frustrating mission in DW.
It was supposed to be an easy, fun mission, but it always ended in disappointment.
Have the exactly the same problem all the time. Spec ops always return to land.
I have even tried (not to hard) editing the mission.

Iīve managed to finish it (100%) a long time ago (before LWAMI and a lot of patches) but cannot finish it since.

some times itīs best to let it go.

Heh heh! you're probably right. I guess it's the obsessive compulsive disorder in me. I'm not using any patches or upgrades beyond what I downloaded from Sonalysts with the game. Do you recall offhand which buildings you're supposed to destroy in order to complete the PhotoRecon/Attack Targets goal? I thought it was the two furthest from the helipad... when I hit those, that goal is completed... but I get a message saying that the mission cannot be completed at the same time!

Just explaining some thinkering I made on the editor.
With no sucess.

But itīs nice to have company on this. For some time I thought I was the only one with issues with the mission.
