View Full Version : [Question] DW Campaign First mission

in campaign mission one i have id `d all surface & submarine contacts shortly after as i try too infiltrate the bay i get deep sixed or run out of sea depth. Am i missing the point to this mission?:confused:

I used my radio mast to get datalink info from the Orion every now and then saved me from have to penetrate the bay itself.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I had weird problem where literally one second into the mission that nice lady would tell me, "Mission can not continue. Return for debrief," or something to that effect.

I would look at the replay, and there was no way I was counterdetected.

Since it was the first mission, I really didn't have any other place to go, so I just restarted. Again and again this would happen.

Finally, it stopped, and I managed to live for more than one second, so I quickly saved the game, and proceeded from there with no problems.

Which leads me to believe that there's a problem with the game, and [unfortunately] you're not doing anything wrong. But then again, I'm a total noob.

If you're playing with a mod enabled (which, considering how often this complaint comes up, you probably are), detection ranges can be very different from the ranges the campaign was designed for. It's not a problem with the game, just a mismatch between the DB and the mission design.
