Since a new major version of vBulletin has just gone gold I had to look around for the appropriate update for the vBulletin style that is in use by the CADC. Unfortunatly the current style "BlackIce" isn't further updated by the developer anymore and I am now faced with two choices, either take a basic 3.8 style and try to redo it so it looks like the current one or I pick another similar looking style. Since I'm lazy and don't have enough time I choose the 2nd path and selected a new style which looks similar to the old one albeit a bit darker. However, at least to me the contrast and readability is better.
For the time being I'll stick to vBulletin 3.7 until all the mods in use by the CADC are ported to 3.8, but I have already installed the 3.7 version of the comming style so people can get used to it.
To switch to the new style simply browse to the bottom of this page and on the lower left corner select "Back to Black 3.7.5" and voila ... new look.
Please let me know what you think of this style ... and if you have other suggestions style wise - let me know too.
