Multi Install?

Does anyone know EXACTLY where I would get DETAILED instructions for creating a dual or multi install? Does anyone know how to make an installer that installs mods into the mod folder without having to do all this messing about? If so, I would like the information on that too so I can make my own mod.

Aside from JSGME, there was another hack with the registry to allow two or more instances of DW to be run from separate folders/drives without having to run a reg file over an over. (which was another option, too)
