FROM MARINERS FLEET COMMAND
TO Task Force Ambar Commanding Officer

Mission Package 01/Task Force Ambar.
With this order, you are to assemble Task Force Ambar that will comprise the following units:
FFG-56 Simpsom (Task Force Comodore)
AOR-1 Sacramento
LSD-51 Oak Hill
MHC-58 Black Hawk

The LSD-51 will load Marine Divission 4

TheTask Force mission within Operation Zeus deployement is to assault and take Playa Larga via disermbarking on it.
Task Force will be ready to get underway ASAP and will mantain the outmost secrecy about its destination.
Route will be D-7, D-8, D-9, E-9 and F-10.

The FFG will provide SAM defence for the convoy.
It is not expected Submarine presence on the route to destination although the FFG Embarked helo will scout one grid ahead of the task force on the planned route.
Neutral ships are not to be engaged on this mission.
Enemy reconeisance is expected so the FFG is cleared to engage any possitively ID enemy Maritime Patrol Aircratf.
The task force will steam with the AOR unit leading , the LSD ship following trail at 800 yards and the FFG on the formation stardboard side 2000 yards away from the other ships abeam the middle point btw both transports. The MHC-58 Black Hawk will mantain station on the Port beam of the Formation
As soon as the disembark is produced, true signs of friendship would be shown towards the locals and their safety would be assured in all times. We want Playa Larga people to understand our invasion is to help them to counter the Tyrian menace they could suffer and our pressence is for their protection.
You will anexionate the DDG-53 J.P. Jones to your forces as soon as you take control of the harbour.

I'll assume the task force goes to D6 before D7 since its the only way to get there in one turn. =)

I need a missile and torpedo loadout for the Simpson. The other stuff won't matter, or will be full by default.

Did you want the helo to do an ASW search in D6? Did you want to scout ahead to D7 as well? The helo has 4 fuel units to spend. The "scouting" rules, btw, only reveal "unhidden" units prior to the FFGs transit, meaning air and surface units. It takes time to find a sub (hence the extra fuel expense).
