TLAM Strike

Ok folks incase you have not checked the fleet page it looks like enemy MPAs overflew both our fleets and searched all three water hexes adjacent to our base, but not our base. Which likely means they didn't run an ASW search (or only searched one location that our subs were not at) and don't know where are subs are at or what they might hit, we on the otherhand did an ASW search and didn't find any subs at the two locations we searched.
Our MPAs did a search and found nothing which means the the enemy fleet is eather at D6, D5, D4. Which means the Canal and/or Truilljo are their most likely targets.
Two officers didn't submit loadouts (one had a good excuse). Please submit loadouts/movments/etc to ML or JoGary & Me.
Ok thats all for the status report, now feel free to post any ideas you might have.

Oops I thought I fixed that. Actually, this is where we stand at this moment in time. There's an enemy Orion in I4 that has detected your boats and vice versa. The Orion might attack at this time or continue its patrol. I messed up and resolved the detection in H4 early... although I doubt you'll shoot him down so you didn't find out too much more than you were supposed to at this point.
Your ASW searches finish on the 7th fuel unit, after the midpoint, so anything detected then won't be reported until the end of the battle phase, and yes, you'll be able to attack.

Thanks for the clarification ML.
Swimsalot are you set on that SLAM-ER attack?
Does anyone think it’s a good idea to toss a few TLAMs in or will that be a waste right now?

Indeed, that is the discussion we need to have now. =) The orders (battle) phase has begun, and I need to know about any missile attacks being launched ASAP, although I didn't set the official deadline until after New Year's Day. If we get all standoff attack orders (and statements from all capable air/vessels saying that they won't) we can finish up the P-3s ASW searches and start the next turn.

I think I already know the answer but I will ask anyway. With LAMs loaded in torpedo tubes/Torpedo racks you can only fire the ones currently loaded in the tubes? I assume yes but no (you can fired any aboard) is also a possibility when I think about how long a period of time a "turn" really is (a day or more).

As discussed previously, I would like both P3's to launch all SLAMER's at Bluefield, D5, at end of ASW search, as long as there are no hostile surface ships near them. I'm still unsure if there is any specific targeting info available-Molon? If so, split loadout evenly between naval base and airfield.

And could we please confirm, are we using 1.01 with lwami 2.03? or is it 1.03 lwami 3.00? or what?

That's a very good question about the tubes, and it's one that I hadn't yet considered, although the rules don't really need to be changed to deal with it, fortunately.
A turn roughly correlates to 12 hours, with odd numbered turns representing "day" and even numbered turns "night." (For the time being, I'm not taking environmental settings any farther than that... maybe next time or maybe later this tournament...) That's plenty of time to reload and fire in a "no resistance" declared standoff attack. If the standoff attack cannot be done by declaration due to resistance/interference (as in, you're being attacked), then we just go to a normal battle with your loadout as it was at the end of the movement phase. I'll post a brief clarification on this point today.

1.01 with 2.03 aye.
