The News Booth is running for a couple of days now, and aside from some small software glitches working fairly well. To avoid confusion for the Users on this board I've made a few changes. First, the New Posts link doesnt show posts from the News Booth. Given that there are about 6 feeds running, with each returning at least 3 or 4 threads every 4 hours, this could be a lot to wade through for someone who wants to keep abreast of happenings around DW on this board. However you can get the list of latest news by "Latest News" in the User Links.
Anyway, I've looked at the Views for the threads and it seems there are zero. So I'm asking myself if htere is the desire for it, otherwise I would simply let the News Booth dissapear again. Unfortunatly my original intend to display the latest from SubSim or SCS here, doesnt work, because the only feed from SubSim does show every forum on SubSim and (and thats a bigger problem) isn't really accessible. If it loads, it takes a hell of a long time which exceeds the limit of the Software I'm using.
What is your opinion on this?
As for adding Feeds, just check the website from which we should display news for an XML or RSS feed. Put that URL in your reply or at least the website URL of the site to be included. If you want a Feed deleted, just list the tag of the feed like [CNN - World News].
