There is a way to save and view other peoples replays on your PC. After the game finishes ask the other player to send you replay.dat file. Its the one used by replay viewer, its gets overwritten all the time.
Now, once you receive the replay file, copy it to your DW directory and mark it 'read-only' in Windows. Right click on a file -> Properties -> mark the read only tick mark -> click ok.
Now start DW, start a mission, ie. quick one. End it immediately and voila. You can view the replay you have received from your friend.
After watching make sure you unselect read only tick-mark, because if you dont you will going to see this replay over and over again.
There is only one drawback of this solution. The map data is not saved in replay file, so you are going to see the unit positions from your saved replay, but the map used for replaying the "save" is going to be the one selected in quick mission for example.
