This is just a quick anonymous poll to see how many people want to participate in the CADC - DW Tutorial Competition ( See this link : http://www.commanders-academy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7290 )
Given that the original thread has 100+ Views I do hope for some participants. You don't have to but can additionally tell what you have planed.
Cheers

I think this is a great idea.., and look forward to the results. I would love to enter but given my limited skills, knowledge and intelligence level, it's a little above my pay grade

I would suggest you give it a try ... nobody is perfect and everybody started somewhere. Take it as a learning experience for yourself and along the way document everything, write it up nicely and send it in. Doesn't have to be perfect, just has to do the job its supposed to do i.e. teach newbies how to use the platforms in a useful way.
For example, how often did I see the advice from some of the experienced guys to make up a simple mission with some known targets to get the TMA part down for the subs. Well, that would be a start, expand a bit on the written stuff to cover all the bases (i.e. stations) work a bit on the mission itself, for example make it so people have to navigate a bit besides using TMA and you are well on the way to success.
Once you have done it with one platform you can use that as base to build a mission for another platform. For example your first was for the 688 and the second is for the Akula. You can reuse some stuff you have written and just have to modify the rest to fit the Akula ... change some units in the mission but leave the general layout and you are done.
If you do the FFG its even easier as you only have to cover that platform. And if you do the Airborne platforms you have a lot of material available to take hints from and peek into.

Well.., having said that Oneshot.., I am going on Holidays tomorrow and will be back in mid month. Pending disaster, I'll give it a whirl when I get back as long as everyone promises not to laugh.
Having never done this, I assume I am to gear it to someone who iust starting out so that by the end, the newbie will have gained some experience in the different stations.
Woo, hoo..., something to ponder over while sitting on the beach

Hooyah ... the first actual participant. Hey guys if nobody joins in this looks like a sure win for our newcomer (well if he delivers the goodies that is). So better get cracking yourself if you want a neatly signed printed and spiral bound manual (signed by no others then Jamie and his group).
