Calculating Target Range

Gentlemen,

Can someone direct me the right way where I can find info regarding how target range can be determined and/or a means of calculating target range without using the Active Sonar option?

Hello,

In general you need to perform TMA to find the distance, course and speed of the contact.
In a Seawolf you may use the WA Array to give you an estimate of the target range under some conditions.
