Weekly Games Friday 13th April

Well, Friday 13th may prove to be a fatal day for cyber submarines.
So lets get a match going.
I propose the match start as usual at 1700 GMT/Zulu 1900 CET

I have some custom made maps but we can alo play any other proposed scenario.

I am currently editing one of my first MP maps, one that we played here long ago and that I think the people enjoyed.
The name is Persian Gulf Fears

This would be a slightly edited version of the original one to try to improve it a bit.

The scenario is on the Persian Gulf.
The Iranian Goverment have decided to cut Oiler traffic on the Gulf in response to the UN embargo for their Nuclear program and they are willing to use force to accomplish this objective.

The US Navy is tasked to escort a high value asset, a super tanker through the strait.

The Iranians have 2 human manned Kilo class subs, a platform well adapted to this waters. Since the Persian Gulf is their backyard, they will have large support from the Iranian Air Force and the Iranian navy surface forces.
They are expected to achieve local air superiority and a detection network to report othe location of the US Navy assets

The US Navy have 2 FFG, located on different sectors. One of them is closely escorting the High Value asset, the Super tanker.
The US Navy also have one human manned MH-60, attached to one of the FFG and one human manned P-3 Orion, departing from an airport.

The area is highly transited by merchant traffic although the Iranian Forces are only cleared to engage specific targets.

It is going to be a high intensity scenario.

was gonna make a new thread but wanted to see intrest first im also available for a sunday game at the usuall time (1700 gmt or earlier like 0500 somewhere round there if you guys wanna get up early for a change lol) if u guys didnt play this mission than we could give it a go or i have a new one ive been working on that might be good just needs briefings and polishing which i hope to get done tonight) let me know intrest and well try to get it organized

This was a nice match.
Only Molon Labe and me but I had much fun.
We played BREST BLOCKUS that lasted not muhc because the AI Kilo did a bit of noise and he happened to be near Molon so I send my helos and finished him real fast.
Then we played a very nice map done by Molon, about Convoy escort on the Atlantic.
That was a nice map. It took us about 2 hours to complete it and I was finally killed by Molon with Torpedoes.
We had some lag there but I think he will edit the map to make it more lag friendly.
All in all a great evening with some intense gamming.

I am saving the Persian Gulf Fears scenario for a match with more players, next time.
